We had the wonderful experience of spending time on D'Urville Island in
the Marlborough Sounds earlier this month. Aaron used to be a chef in Nelson but now owns and runs the D'Urville Wilderness resort with his wife and kids - oh, and Brie the cheese-coloured dog. That's Aaron at the helm. We ate venison and oysters in his cafe - delicious! A fabulous place to stop for a beer if you're out and about in a boat. We also fished up a beauty snapper while floating in a little tinnie in Catherine Cove ... a perfect lunch on the barbeque the next day.
